Advision is a small company founded in 2012 to provide support and services related to several R&D projects in the fields of three-dimensional computer vision, close-range photogrammetry, optics and image processing.
The company is owned by Antonio Martos, physicist specialized in optics and materials, M.Sc. in Soft-Computing and Intelligent Systems and Ph.D. candidate. With more than 15 years of experience actively participating and promoting several national and international R&D projects and several applied industrial solutions in the fields of close-range photogrammetry and 3D computer vision. Founder of two technological companies dedicated to photogrammetry and expert in three-dimensional imaging, optics, metrology and physical properties of materials.
Advision starts its activity in early 2013 with a strong scientific background and solid set of innovative developments largely based on open-source and open-hardware philosophy. It is within our goals to provide services and products with no restrictions, vendor lock-ins, or proprietary restrictions.
We think that our developments in three-dimensional image processing are innovative and can be valuable in cultural heritage digitalization, industrial inspection, full body scanning and other applications. However the company support is required to continue the research associated with them.
